~a princess party and a mothers day giveaway~

My niece turned 3 this past week and I helped my sister
create a princess party for her and her friends.
 My mom made this beautiful and really simple cake, topping
 it with apple blossoms off a tree in her yard.

I put together the party bags for all her friends to take home.
I got the bags, as well as a few other things from this etsy shop.

 I created the label using printable sticker paper from Office Depot.
The monogram can be customized here.
I filled the bags with items from the dollar store:

mini bubbles from the wedding section
clip on earrings
bracelets
rings
mini nail files
marshmallow ropes
princess notepads
and
pink candies

 All the pink plates, napkins, and cups came from the dollar store as well.
Also at each place setting, each guest got their own tiara to wear and take home.
On each plate I put a little white bucket
{also available in the wedding section at the dollar store}
and filled it with pink and white animal cookies wrapped in tulle, from, you guessed it, the dollar store.
{tiaras from there too}

 The tiara pops are from Oriental Trading, and the striped
 straws from the same etsy shop where I got the bags.
I love children's parties, they are so much fun.
I am so glad I have little nieces and nephews to decorate for now that my kids are getting bigger.

Finally, one of my dear sponsors would like to give one of you a $50.00 gift card to use in
her shop!
This giveaway will run now through Sunday and I will announce the winner on Monday.
