Want to take a walk?

It was a fairly nice day here in the Pacific Northwest. About 50 degrees, warm enough to put our coats on and take a walk.
Come stroll with us as I take you through my neighborhood~Crystal Lake~ First stop, my house...nothing new here, but check back in a few weeks for a little boost of curb appeal!

This cute little house reminds me of Hansel and Gretal's! Very charming to say the least! It has hand painted shutters and a wishing well!

My in-laws. Did you know they live 5 doors down from us? They spend most of the year in Cancun though. Ah, to be retired!

Another view of their home

My precious doggy fetching a stick! Brrr!!!

This is the most darling log home. My daughter's 2nd grade teacher lives here. Love how it is nestled in the woods.

They also have amazing rock work and landscaping. Her husband is the one who made me Cody's closet doors and saloon doors.

This house belongs to a very funky hip couple, very artsy. She is an amazing gardner.

This is in front of their garage. A stone lady with star boobies. Very artsy.

Love this! This house is across the street from the stone lady

That great archway belongs to this house. See my doggy?

This is a little blue house that is going to be torn down. The people who own it live in another house here on Crystal Lake,
until the new house is done.

I love this house! I do love shingles!

This is the one and only rental house we have out here.

This home has great weathered gray shingles

This is a new construction home built about 2 yrs. ago. People in the neighborhood were not so happy to see such a large house going in. I don't mind it though.

This one looks craftsman on the outside, but inside it is very modern

Great landscaping

This is our community garden. Doesn't look like much now, but just wait for a couple months! We have a neighbor and friend who grows giant pumpkins in here for Halloween. I love the apples and strawberries. Nothing like taking a walk in the summer and stopping here to grab fresh fruit!

Something about this house inspired us. The little "hint" I gave you about boosting our curb appeal....it comes from here!

This wonderful home's side yard is the "garden"

Some neat iron work for a gate the homeowners Dad made for them

When this house was for sale about 4 yrs. ago, we seriously considered buying it. It is the one by the garden.

This couple converted part of their garage into an art studio, we also considered this house when it went up for sale. The inside is small but full of sooooo much character! We didn't end up buying it, but we did buy a light fixture out of it and it now hangs in our living room, so we have a little piece of it!

That's all folks!
