~HomeGoods blogger party 2013~

When the fabulous HomeGoods store contacted me about hosting a blogger party, I just about fell off my chair!
I couldn't say yes fast enough.
I am sure you will be seeing these blogger parties popping up all over blog land in 2013.
So far Rhoda from Southern Hospitality and Chic Coastal Living have hosted them.
{be sure to check out their posts!}
 I was lucky number 3!
Here is the lowdown on how it all went down.

While in Hawaii I took a conference call with 6 lovely folks from HomeGoods, local and corporate.
They gave me all the details of how the party would go.

So, on Saturday, a sleepy Savannah and I got up really early and were greeted by great staff at the Lynnwood WA. HomeGoods store at 7:15 am.
Tom, the store manager was wonderful and had everything set up and ready to go!
Thank you Tom!
Rita, who works for HomeGoods,  flew in from New York for the party and was super sweet as well.

Once we were there, I picked out 5 pieces that I loved,
{and was shocked at how cheap they were!}
to play a "price is right game"

We also had this lovely spread when we arrived:

The parking lot slowly started filling up, and people lined up at the doors at 8 am to get in before the store opened to the public!

As the doors opened, I greeted each guest with a $10 gift card while Savannah took pictures.
We had a great turn out.
I think around 60-65 people came!

Once everybody was in, they all got to grab some food and start shopping.
Shortly, Tom called everyone back to play the games.
From the items I picked out, everyone got to shout out how much they thought it costs.
If they guessed right on, they won a additional $50.00 gift card!
This was a lot of fun and I was able to hand out 5 $50.00 gift cards, super exciting!

Then, more shopping.......

 My lovely mama below!
 Cathy with baby Brennan, our youngest shopper, heading to checkout.
Cathy writes the blog, picket fence design.
 It was fun to see everyones purchases.
 Isn't baby Brennan so cute?
 Look how happy everyone was :)

The store was filled with tons of lovely items.
Lots of Spring color, Easter goods, and lots of furniture.

This was such a fun day, and I am so grateful to HomeGoods and to all the My Sweet Savannah readers, and all my friends and family who came out to shop with me!
HomeGoods has a great FaceBook page here if you want to check it out!
xoxo
