~DIY key hooks~

 I saw this key holder last night on Pinterest.
I knew I had to make it.... or 3 of them.
Here is how you can make one for yourself!

1. Gather your supplies. You will need the letter blocks to spell out the word you are creating.
You will need cup hooks, {any color will be fine, as they will be getting painted}
liquid nails, and scrap wood. Mine measure approx. 4" x 9"

 2. Screw in the cup hooks to the center of the block underneath the letter you want to show. I found this quite easy to do, no pre-drilling was necessary.
 3. Spray paint them black. A good tip is to put them in a box outside and then spray. This contains the spray paint enough that it won't go all over the surrounding areas that you don't want black. Let dry.
 4. Use liquid nails to attach the blocks to the wood. Space them evenly and attach them up a little higher, not centered, to accommodate the hanging keys. Let dry for several hours.
 5. Hang on wall. I used a sawtooth hanger on the back, but you could also screw it right into the wall.
 6. Hang your keys. Now you have no more excuses as to where you put your keys.....not that I had that problem.....just sayin'
 Super simple.
These would make cute gifts too huh?
Are you going to the Ruffles and Rust Flea Market this weekend?
Hope to see you there!
Come say hi, xoxo
