It's rare that I take a day off from blogging!
So, where was I?
~On an all day field trip with a class of5Th graders~
We headed over the mountains at 6:30 am with a car full of girls!
First stop~a rest area to meet up with the others and the
teacher who served donut holes and
fresh Starbucks coffee out of the back of his truck!
A little over an hour later,Rocky Reach Dam for a guided tour and a picnic on the lawn!
After that, Hanz' apple orchard where the kids got to pick their own apples, wash them, and run them through a cider press!
10 minutes later, the freshest juice ever!
We even got to take a bunch home!
Then onto the town of Leavenworth for
ice cream & shopping and finally, a 3 hour drive home!
Whew, what a day!
