~fresh flowers in the home~

 I love using fresh flowers in my home.
Even if it's raining outside
{which it usually is}
they somehow bring a little sunshine in.
I also like using them in containers other than the typical vases.
The blue flowers above are displayed in a vintage canister, while the roses below are in a pretty white enamel pitcher.
 Mason jars are a great inexpensive way to display single blooms.
You can also recycle your leftover jam and jelly jars right out of your fridge for a different approach to this.
 Grouping colorful flowers with old bottles in the same hue makes for a striking display.
I'm thinking hydrangeas in vintage blue mason jars would be lovely!
 This is one of my favorites, the colors are beautiful.
Here is a tip.
Head to your grocery store and buy some of this.
{scroll down until you see the steel cut}
Empty the contents into another container and use the tin for a vase, it's gorgeous!
 You don't need to look further than your kitchen cupboards......
 This is very sweet.
A little jar filled with clippings and tied onto a fence with ribbon.
 But if you must, standard vases are always beautiful too.
No matter how you display your fresh flowers, they are sure to add a little bit of sunshine to your home!
