It all started with an email.
Someone local saw and liked my dining chairs on my blog and emailed me to
ask me if I'd sell them to her.
Sure, I wasn't married to them, and I'm always up for a change.
So I went from the light look of my cream chairs
to these beauties from Restoration Hardware, in the burnt oak color.
{shown below}
The best part is that they are a bit smaller,
and I can now seat 8 at my table instead of 6!
The darker chairs really warmed up the room.
{photos coming shortly}
Reminding me again why I LOVE Restoration Hardware so much.
It's that deep, dark, cozy look.
Hard to put a finger on it.
I love all the wood tones and the industrial pieces they use.
The textures and finishes.
The chairs below are the ones I got in a lighter finish.
I have a my eyes on a certain chandelier, just don't know where I'm gonna put it yet!
Somehow, someday, I will find a way to recreate that subway art for less than $700!
So, do you love the look of Restoration Hardware pieces?
I admit, I am not a fan of it all, and the prices sometimes blow me away, but I think you can achieve this look with just a few key pieces.
When I went to California last year, I visited a house that fully enveloped this look.
You can read about it here.
Her house was also just featured in the current Romantic Prairie Style magazine,
so you might recognize it.
This room was one of my favorites.
Love the charcoal grey sectional, the chandelier, the leather ottoman/table and all those photos.
I am off to Farm Chicks in a few hours!
Meeting up with some great friends, and hopefully meeting new ones!
I will be back to share my treasures with you, and of course, I will take a ton of photos!
Don't forget, if you haven't already, enter the giveaway below for a chance to win a $50.00 Home Depot gift card.
xoxo
