I put together this collage for a 3rd birthday to show you an example of how to use them. You can also use numbers that corospond with anniversaries, birthdates, ages (like below) etc. etc. 
It's fun to personalize these with photos and pictures from the event. If you went to a movie on a date, add the movie stub, a picture of the happy couple and get a flashcard with the date of the date! Make sense?
