~botanicals in our hallway~

A while ago I teamed up with some friends to do a project using pressed botanicals from the 1800's. If you missed the post you can read about it here.

Well since I can't seem to sit still or leave things be, last night I thought it would be fun to paint the frames black.

 These are awful photos, I know.

I'm almost too embarrassed to post them, 

but you get the idea, lack of photography skills aside.....

 I also painted over the stripes and made a new coat rack.
